Milton Ridge, Hyattstown

Clarksburg, MD 20871

We offer huge thanks to Milton Ridge in Hyattstown for hosting us in these cold months ahead. It’s a beautiful place.

Handicapped parking is right next to the cottage, but everyone else please park in the lot next to the Dunkin Donuts. You’ll see a “Milton Ridge — Entrance” sign next to the walkway to the left.

Go across a little parking area and down past the building next to the fence:

Then go into the door on the left:

What Songs Do You Sing at the Song Circle?

At the Song Circle, we usually go around the circle and each person picks the next song.  It doesn’t absolutely have to be from the book, but it makes it a lot easier for everyone to join in (which is what we’re all about!).  Take a look at the Song Circle Table of Contents.

The Hyattstown Mill community is saddened by the passing of Chris Rounds. Seldom do we encounter such a gentle spirit as Chris, and when we do we cherish the blessing.
Humble and soft-spoken, Chris would quietly slip into our Song Circle with his modest assortment of drums and drumsticks, then suddenly the room would be vibrantly enlivened with contagious , syncopated rhythms and delightful flourishes.

He loved people and he loved drumming.
Thank you Chris , you brought so much joy into the world.
